Houston Grand Opera (HGO) will present Puccini's Il Trittico in late October and early November 2025.

Here are the confirmed dates and times:

These performances will take place at the Brown Theater at Wortham Center.

Giacomo Puccini's Il Trittico (The Triptych) is a collection of three one-act operas, each a distinct masterpiece showcasing the breadth of human emotion. Il Tabarro (The Cloak) is a dark and passionate verismo tragedy set on a barge in Paris. Suor Angelica (Sister Angelica) is a poignant and heartbreaking tale of a nun's sacrifice and divine intervention. Finally, Gianni Schicchi is a hilarious and witty comedy about a conniving lawyer who helps a family reclaim an inheritance. From intense drama to profound sorrow and laugh-out-loud humor, Il Trittico offers a captivating journey through Puccini's genius.
